  about a month ago, i wrote a post about a sister that keeps coming to my apartment giving me watchtowers.

  i called her an older sister.

  she is in her late 50's.

  curling my lashes and putting on pant hose to be"modest" and ready for all the dribble that's going to be said.

  At what age do you think people should start dating? What age did you start?

  i hope that everyone is still holding on amidst all the struggles.. i know that there are parents, older ones, middle age and younger ones here.. sooo, my question isss- what age did you start dating and what age do you truly believe people should start dating?

  Yeah I live in the Pacific North West.

  My wife and I moved from the Pacific NW. I was born and raised in Kennewick WA and moved to Olympia/Lacey area in 2003. We moved in 2004 to Colorado. We would go to the Tacoma Dome for conventions and Puyallup assembly hall for the 1 and 2 day assemblies. Are you near there? If its too much private info to put out you can PM me using the envelope on the top right corner. My wife and I knew many families all over Washington. We have friend in Portland too. Good luck in hell... I mean meeting...

  I was 16 as a JW when I started dating. I got a hard time about it from other witnesses, not my mom so much. I think parents need to be very involved in their kids especially when they are teens. I think I would be ok with my kids dating around 15 or 16. But I have about 11 years before that and I reserve the right to change my mind when that time comes.

  Moving out doesn't seem possible either, although I can afford it, I would never get my parents blessing.

  Why do you need their blessing? You have some tough choices ahead. Live YOUR life for YOU not anyone else. Life is full of tough choices. People get hurt no matter what. Do what you feel is best for you not your mom or dad or anyone else.

  i know that the elders in my congregation will put some pressure into him as to not take it.

  as a ms, i will also be put under pressure as to not give him any encouragement in that regards.

  Life Never Ceases To Amuse Me, What Is My Role?

  i get a letter from a long lost family member requesting money to help someone who helped destroy my relationship with my father before he died.

  dad believed the lies this drug addict spread, and i was out of state on business.

  most of my life this person has brought nothing but evil and caused many problems that will never be solved in this world.

  I saw a friend of mine and his dad give his crack addicted brother/son money whenever he needed it. He would then leave and live on the streets and from slum to slum until the money ran out then comeback with a sob story needing more money for his addiction. It was really sad. AND THEY WOULD KEEP DOING IT
